Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Refs just gave Welker a huge gift with his push off. SHould have been a flag instead of a 47 yard completion. You'd think that NE had the better defense out there.

Re: Around the league divisional weekend
I did not think that was a push off, nice throw and nice catch. Texans defense has been terrible against good quarterbacks so this is not surprising.

Re: Around the league divisional weekend
How do you think he got that last split second separation even though they were stride for stride? Even Simms commented on him pushing the defenders arm down.

Grant Paulsen @granthpaulsen
Tom Brady is 2-3 in the playoffs since '07. Does that mean he's gotten less clutch? No. Stop judging QB play by postseason record/exploits. I think some of you need to take notice to this.

Manning is number one all time in one and dones he has eight the next player has 4... But Brady is about to have the all time record for playoff wins, the numbers speak for themselves. Almost 300 yards and two touchdowns without their best offensive weapon. I always say this... Everything Peyton Manning has done Tom Brady has done... Peyton Manning has not done everything Tom Brady has done. |

No it doesn't. You are again forgetting that Brady was backed by a top 5 PPG defense and Manning was not. Defense reigns supreme in the playoffs. Very few exceptions.

My god I hate it Jim Nantz, first he gets Gus Johnson to not get resigned by CBS, and now every patriots game he does he clearly shows who his favorite team is and that he is good buds with Belichick ("just to show you how great of a coach Belichick is he doesn't even react when his team scores!")

NYJ 16-19... 18/26 225 yards 1 touchdown Baltimore 35-38... 290 yards 3 touchdowns 3 T.O. The only game I see where his defense let him down was the Denver game... except he played bad that game too and had a pic 6, a fumble with the lead, and threw an INT when the Broncos had the ball at midfield. These scores look like the defense came to play but Manning played poorly. People thought Manning didn't have a good defense but in the playoffs the defense would play well, similar to NE last year, by the way the 2nd worst defense of all time was in the superbowl thanks to a Tom Brady. Manning gets all the credit in the regular season but none of the blame during the postseason. The scores of the games he played in speak for themselves. He played poorly. The record and stats show it. |
