Manning is a master of chess style offense, where he is the grand strategist. And in the regular season, that beats most of the NFL defenses most of the time, but in the playoffs, when all the opponents have some level of competence, and parts that are highly effective, he struggles.
Brady is more of the working man's elite qb. He isn't going to "out think" the opponent. He's going to go out and beat you with what he has.
In a playoff comparison between the 2, I (and most everyone else I think) would take Brady to lead a team thru every time.
