i'd like to mention that i wasted a large amount of time w a girl a had never met. who indeed, was pretending to be someone else. plenty of phone calls, texts, online communication. when she finally came clean, she wasn't even ugly or anything, but i was done.
yeah it was extremely embarrassing because i was talking to my friends about her. i wasn't dating other girls. i was really looking forward to meeting her. but i didn't tell my friends she died. i took it on the chin and moved on, lesson learned

Seriously, what happened to the girl Te'o's father talked to after his grandmother's death? This is almost as elaborate as the movie "Catfish" where when the guy goes to meet the woman he's been talking to online she turned out to be a pathological liar.

Teo also ha an elaborate mushy story about meeting her for the first time and how their eyes met for the first time... and said he sent white roses after she died and that it was a closed casket funeral. Whatever his motives were, the man is a pathological liar. He apparently loves attention so Im sure hrs getting a kick out of all this.
