Ditto...they likely have not even vacationed in Africa, let alone are actually African.

I'm white, you're black...it's OK. Acknowledging that we have difference color skin doesn't mean I hate you for it.

I don't go around announcing that I'm Irish German Cherokee-American. I've never been in Europe or a teepee. That's OK. I don't need to make things up. We're all just people and we should all be proud to be Americans. No need to add anything else to it like we're trying to get away from the American part.
