An injury that happened in the pocket too.

I guess he was playing too recklessly.

There he goes again "mortgaging" his and his team's future. So selfish.

Yep. Perhaps Brady should stop running the read option so he doesn't get hurt.

If I'm right that's when they passed the rule about hitting a QB in the knees.

If you are trying to say Brady is as reckless as RG3 your blind. You cant even compare the two styles of play. The difference is Brady came out of the game and stayed out after his injury until it healed. RG3 on the other hand... RG3 is reckless thats all there is to it.

Relax boss, just having some fun, and making the point that injuries can happen in or out of the pocket. You said Brady never had a serious injury.

Griffin is fearless (would be an awesome Green Lantern! ) not reckless - the two can look similar. As he learned through the season he made better choices, but an unlucky hit, and a playoff game on the line, left us where we are. If he heals, then he will know more about his body and the way the NFL level is played.

But I think the main point is any qb can suffer a year long injury, even qb's that stay in the pocket more than run. And I would say Brady's jamming his leg up in the air was far more reckless than Griffins running, he just didn't get caught that time.

That was a puss move indeed. Believe me, Im no Brady fan! Neither am I anti RG3. Im just not comfortable with RG3 style of play in the NFL. (For longevity reasons only)

I would like more than anything for RG3 to come back and play lights out while staying healthy. What Redskins fan wouldn't...

It's certainly a concern, and anyone who isn't concerned just a little bit is in denial. There's concern that any player on the field will be at risk; but we see with a lot of quarterbacks, such as Brady and Manning and Manning, and even as far back as Elway and Marino, that these guys hardly ever got hurt. And you only have to watch one game to see why: they release the ball quickly every time. Yeah, sure, Brady tore his knee; the risk is there. But the best QBs lessen the risk by getting rid of the ball quickly. Of course, RGIII has become example everyone likes to point to, but it's reasonable for fans of Big Ben and Aaron Rogers to wary of injury as well because those two players so frequently extend plays (with Big Ben the problems isn't as bad since he's roughly the size of King Kong).

So I'm with you, I'm concerned about RGIII's health, but not substantially more than I would be if we had anyone of a number of quarterbacks.
