Every year teams ask to interview Smith-including the Steelers-and every year we say no. This time we said yes. My guess is he gets an Assistant HC title slapped on as well

Also, looks like Rob Ryan and the Rams ultimately couldn't come to an agreement and he won't be headed to St Louis

why would we say yes? Why not just give him more $ and an Assistant HC title to stay here? I cant imagine Shanahan wouldnt want to keep him.
