Right. And I told him I'd make a couple of phone calls and get him access. But just wait for me to take care of it first. Next morning "Hey I'm Joe Crisp, Smootsmack said you have a press pass for me" "No, sorry don't see your name on the list"...and well, Joe didn't take no for an answer easily

So that's when I got the phone call.

Wasn't there some talk of him sniffing around for a job at Redskins Park too? Something along those lines? Basically he didn't stay under the radar as he probably should have.

Did he? I don't remember that. I mean I knew he wanted to get a more permanent media job. And I use that to help get him access. Didn't know he specifically was looking at Redskins Park though. I know the whole experience soured him on the Redskins.

My memory is a little hazy on the details now but when all the drama was going down I got an email from a guy claiming to be an intern at Redskins Park. He claimed that JC was a little too forward with the fact he was looking for a job. I don't recall if he said it was just a media job in general or something specific at Redskins Park but either way, he apparently rubbed some folks wrong on more than one occassion.

LOL... so, do they refer to you at Smootsmack at redskins park, or are you just continuing to protect your secret identity? I would find it more amusing if they actually referred to you as smootsmack. I like to think that no one, even in the media, knows your true identity.
