2 flags during play on ravens and 2 on 49ers. I don't think they called definaive holding once. I love when refs let them play. Blaming the refs means you lost

I was watching the game as a fan of the game, didn't care who won.

It was a hold, the refs had very little control, including the shove on an official that should have been an ejection.

Bad officiating in the Super Bowl is absurd.

That push of the ref told me they were going to let this game be decided between the players and not on a bunch of penalties. It looked as if he didn't realize he was a ref until after he jumped up and pushed him. Yea the ref could have tossed him but the game was too big for that. It is after all football.

I'd rather have officials quite and let football be played then for a questionable call help decide the game. Like I said if you aren't 100% sure... Don't throw the flag.

Also anyone notice that everytime 49ers ran read option Suggs was hitting kapernick. It wasn't working all that well till Ngata got injured and then gore carved them up

I did notice it, I thought it picked up before Ngata went out, but I could be wrong. But even the hits by suggs weren't vicious, and CK put his hands up right away. Still seems like effectively kept Suggs from making a play on the ball.

Ill agree with that. But the read option did become ineffective for the first portion of the game. Until gore got it going but I felt it was working when Ngata went out. And then any run play was working

Re: Ravens v. Niners Super Bowl Thread

This wasn't the best Super Bowl by any stretch of the imagination....the 30 minute delay ruined it for me.....but it was still a great game.....it reminded me of Super Bowl 16 between the 49ers and Bengals. Close game.

We have video games here? I view this site as an adult site (used by adults not really its content) and others must unless the feel its OK to use the f word and other in front of kids. The SB is viewed by 190 million people in primetime and I would think they could have found a better act for this event.

It doesn't matter how you view this site. You had the admin directly tell you not to post such things because it was a family friendly site, yet you still proceeded to do otherwise. Please. Stop calling the pot names Mr. Kettle.

ps. Have you seen the violent shows that CBS has lined up in their primetime yet complain about Beyonce?....lol
