1. Porn sites are not part of the NFL, neither are they designed for family viewing. At least not traditional families.

2. knowing that you are a lesbian, I understand why you have no problem with the site you are watching TV on showing naked women.

4. FD is parenting his kid, thats why he is stating his distaste for the halftime content in the SB. The halftime show was not appropriate.

Of course it is but telling FD to parent his kid is not rude at all... My intent was not to be rude but to demonstrate why she would not mind beyonce's half time show, but others did. See lesbians are attracted to women, in case you didn't know. I would assume a black lesbian woman would be attracted to a beautiful black woman, makes sense right?

No, FD is one portion of the superbowl audience, for him and his family, they didn't want to see the halftime show, that is fine. The point is, he was not the pure spectrum that the superbowl was intended for, and to think that they should only serve to his tastes is wrong. If they were having some sort of whacked out caligula style court orgy, then morals comes into it, but this was a mainstream america singer, dressed with enough clothes so as not to be ruled unviewable in primetime, singing top 10 hits and dancing reasonably non pole dance moves.

Firstdown said the SB should have chosen a more appropriate act. He's wrong, and your response, although insensitive and rude does point to the fact the SB's target audience was more than just the family friendly cadre.

The act was appropriate for the SB target audience, and an ok halftime show.

I'll give credit were credit is due, you are partly right. But, only because the NFL is NOT what it claims to be, it is NOT for children even though it draws them in with NFL Play 60, Youth Apparel, Punt Pass and Kick half time, PS3, XBOX Games, Trading Cards, Action Figures, ect...

The point is, the halftime show should be appropriate for all viewers and not have to be censored by anyone.

And as we all know as time goes by, standards lessen, BTW the Olympics is considering pole dancing to be considered a sport and will host competition, and just because they do does not make it right, it's still wrong.

I would hope the NFL would keep it a little more classy but it's only a matter of time...

BTW, what part of my post was insensitive and rude, the fact that I called a black woman black or a lesbian a lesbian? Im sure she has no problem being either one, the fact that you do says something about the way you see it.

She embraces who she is, No need for the slight of hand or derailment.

The halftime show was not appropriate for young viewers. Thats the point!

Parenting a kid would be what my brother's wife does whenever she sees them watching something she believes is inappropriate for her two sons and daughter (under the age of 5): turning the channel, tell them to leave the room or turning the TV off.

I believe there is a fine line between parents demanding a certain level of restriction to TV programs and parents needing to do their jobs as parents (and not the censors or FCC).

In this situation, unless someone has been living under a rock, they should know that the Superbowl could have material not suitable for children including:
- Players dropping the F-bomb
- An all out brawl
- Players getting a terrible injury
- Players getting knocked out in a harsh manner
- Suggestive TV commercials
- Suggestive halftime acts

Given that the Superbowl and the halftime show took place during primetime, when most young children are going to bed, I think it is a ridiculous to expect none of these things to happen. I would also hope that parents would have the responsibility to make sure that their children do not watch this or explain that what they are seeing is inappropriate behavior (teachable moment).
