Yeah we have to wait until his suspension is over before we do anything with him. Like cut him. I don't see how he comes in late August and wins a starting spot.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Jackson still has to be reinstated by the league, so technically he's on the team but not active and that's up to Goodell. He's had many violations, so it's not a clear 4, 8 or 16-game suspension, it's up to the Commissioner when it's over. I'm not counting on him. I'd rather roll with the rookies.

Biggers as a starter...surprising. I actually forgot about him.

Man, we have SO much depth in the secondary now!

Cornerback
Josh Wilson
DeAngelo Hall
David Amerson
EJ Biggers
Richard Crawford
Chase Minnifield
Jerome Murphy
Devin Holland
Korey Lindsey

Safety
Brandon Meriweather
Phillip Thomas
Bacarri Rambo
Tanard Jackson (maybe)
Jordan Bernstein
Reed Doughty
DeJon Gomes
Jordan Pugh

I wouldn't worry about position assignments this early.

Thomas is our best press guy. Don't be surprised if hes our nickel back.. DHall is not suited for nickel.. He wont be playing there this season... Don't understand why people keep slotting him in there.

I think its because it makes no sense for him to even be on the team, but if we signed I think we would because he would play some significant role.

That's a bit over zealous.

Now that hes making the right amount of money, there is no reason for him not to be. Hes our best DB and will play #1 this season.

I did it simply because I think starting Amerson will be better for the team, especially in the long term. We need to develop this kid and see what he can do.

He's on 21 years old, by the way.

If he falters, Hall gets his starting role back. I thought if we drafted a starting CB, Hall could move to FS but it's crowded back there now.

So, defending our NFC East crown isn't important.. We are still developing rookies and throwing them out week 1 to "develop"

I think it's more important to start the best players and allow the younger ones to build confidence in to a starting role. You throw Amerson out early and he gets burned and loses confidence in his ability and it could get worse. Remember, this guy is coming off his worse season on the college level.

So we should have sat RGIII last year and went with Grossman?
