Didn't we do this like two drafts ago.

I'm for the stockpiling picks approach. However, since the draft is deep but light at the top, everyone might be looking to trade back. Thus trading down may be harder to do this year.

Te'o has had a horrible day doing his drills. 4.81 & 4.80 FORTY. Looked horrible in the agility drills.

I hope the Giants waste their 1st rnd pick on him. Morris will roll him all day.

Some funny stuff up here.

John Harbaugh is unimpressed by Manti Te'o's 40 - SBNation.com

Well, Te'o does actually have safety speed.

Only problem is that that safety plays on the same team as Te'o (Zeke Motta 4.81)

I wouldn't pay too much attention to his combine results. Te'o is a football player with great football instincs. He can play football. If he's sitting there in the 2nd round when we pick, I think he's worth a serious look.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects

You cannot over look his combine and even more important his play against Alabama. He was awful in that game, and that is a problem. Out of position many times and couldn't shed a block from NFL level talent.

There are teams out there that will draft him in round one, but it will be a mistake.

He may be a football player but I think he will fail as an NFL elite player or even as a good one.

Are you referring to Mathieu? NO ONE will draft him in the first round. As a matter of fact I can guarantee you that unless there is a bat $#!% crazy GM out there, he won't go in the top two rounds and maybe not even in the top three. I see him in the 4th-5th round. I give 3rd round a 50/50 shot. 1st and 2nd rounds, no chance.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects

No sorry I was speaking about Teo.

I would draft the badger in the middle rounds. He has upside and fills multiple needs.

Another guy who I find intriguing for our team is Denard Robinson. Think of the pistol with Morris, RG III, and DR in the backfield. A lot of different options to go with a package like that.

You can't blame Manti for his play against Bama. At the time he was grieving for his fake dead girlfriend. Fake grief is distracting.

I can not even imagine the heckling he's going to get in training camp. Where ever he goes I hope that team is featured in Hard Knocks. Now that would really be must watch TV.

From what I saw against Bama his line was getting pushed back into him. But he missed some tackles. He had a bad game but one game should not erase a long body of work. And I would pay no attention to the combine cause no one is in pads. I think Te'o is a good NFL prospect. Is he Patrick Willis? Probably not.

I'm also all for this. However if there's a guy on that first round border, like Elam for example, and he's there or a few picks away, I'm all for grading up a few picks or staying put to get that guy.

Like we've said before, besides the fact that this draft has no great QBs, it has pretty much everything else, and it has depth, especially at positions of need for the redskins. I love it. Draft draft draft. This is the biggest sign to the redskins we are in the right direction/ doing something right if everything in the draft the past few years have been great for our needs. The cap penalty is basically another sign to us that we should continue drafting.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects

Looks like we have another dumbass LSU player that doesn't know how to shut his mouth.

Y! SPORTS

Quote:
“You know, some weeks when we didn’t have to play the harder teams, there were some times when effort was not needed,” he said.

“But when we had the big boys coming in — the Bamas or the South Carolinas — I grabbed close to those guys and went all-out.”

Not only that, seems many of his coaches killed him about his attitude.

NFL Combine News & Notes: Saturday

Quote:
- To expand on a post from yesterday, we’ve been hearing since October that Sam Montgomery/DE/LSU was not receiving rave reviews from his college coaches. More to the point I was told the LSU coaches have been slamming him. Montgomery’s attitude and personality did not sat well with a number of his former teammates or coaches.

Would not touch this kid.
