You really think the market for corners is that bare?

Cutting him saves us about $8 and that move alone would put us under the cap by about $4M.

I be shocked if he is back. He doesn't really bother I always looked at him as a expensive stop gap.

I just didn't see anyone that really lit my fire that we would be able to afford I like the draft route better but just reluctant to start a corner his first year other then nickel unless he's top tier which I doubt we can get out hands on. idk I just think keeping hall cheaper around for 1 more year or so would be good for us until we get a better option. just my thinking, we will see

Look a little harder, next time.

I can't see how we can justify paying him more than Josh. 3mil a year max (including any signing bonus) is about all I think could be justified. Here are some moves I could see happening in the order I'd like to see them happen.

Release or restructure Hall: savings: 5-8 mil.
Release or Restructure Moss. Love the guy, but more than 3 mil for a slot guy seems high: savings: 3-4 mil
Retire Fletcher: savings: 4 mil.
Restructure Trent Williams: savings 2-3 mil
Release Carriker: savings: 3 mil

Savings: 17-22 mil

I think we can afford to fill the holes made by the cuts with a few guys that will be on the market. Maybe someone could help with who we could sign to make the team better and fill these holes if we had 17 mil to spend.
