That's a weird thing to hope IMO.

Gotta give the FO some real credit RE Trent, not just as a draft choice but "managing" him through his herbal incidents etc. They didn't come down on him too harshly but clearly made it know he's expected to be a top player/leader.

Isn't he already being paid?

According to my quick calculations, TW has received $31M so far. That's actual cash in pocket, not cap hits. He stands to pocket another $27M over the next 3 years ($6M/$9M/$12M).

True. I guess iv gotten the feeling from Tw that hes not not necessarily trying to become an all time great, but more so looking just get by on his natural abilities. i mean everyone seems to think he can be one of the best of all time, right? For whatever reason ive been a little skeptical of him since mid way through his rookie year. I suppose its hard being immediately measured against a guy like Chris Samuels.
