Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
I think we can count the Skins out as FA players this year. (not a bad thing) Not enough room to do anything, but I feel we'll most likely go for some bargain basement guys to fill in until we can replace them.
Off-topic note: Ray Lewis officially joins ESPN's NFL team - ESPN Just another reason to stop watching ESPN's NFL squad. Between him and Berman.....sheeesh.

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
Flacco's fault?
Baltimore has cut/traded/can't afford: Boldin Kruger Pollard Ellerbe Reed Lewis*retired* They signed Canty from the Giants...I approve of that move for obvious reasons. I say we go after Pollard, he's only 28 and not too pricey. Chris Houston signed now...another CB off the list. AJ Smith is probably to thank...we're talking to Cason for the second time according to: Antoine Cason - San Diego Chargers - 2013 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com https://twitter.com/john_keim/status...35420394672128

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
don't see it being Flacco's fault, his cap hit is around 7M this year. I think they weren't happy with the defense, and see this as a chance to clean house, and not pay huge payouts to avg guys. (Boldin I don't get though)

This isn't Flacco's fault. They were in cap trouble before Flacco, and they wouldn't have been able to sign many of those guys even if they didn't sign Flacco. Years of paying big money to defensive stars has caught up to them. At some point, you have to pay the piper. I expect the Ravens to take a huge nose dive.

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
We said this last year too...but Tampa Bay has a TON of cap space to spend. Last year they got VJax and some solid linemen.
This year, they should make some huge moves again. They're really stingy with their money though. They can and should spend more. Dashon Goldson is close to signing there. Revis is a rumor. They've spoken to Grimes, Landry, Avril Derrick Cox and Sean Smith. So far, the Colts and Dolphins have been making some good moves.

I wouldn't be shocked if Hall comes back

Vet min anyone? j/k
I wouldn't rule out the possibility as a last resort, but it still seems unlikely. |

Well reason I'm saying that is because we would have to replace him with one of these other corners on the market and I haven't seen or heard anything about us talking to any of them besides talib I think?

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
I thought he was 67?? Or maybe 112…
He will actually be a spry 36 in June.

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013
I think both are better than Hall. Winfield wouldnt be more than a 1 year deal. Cason is pretty average, i dont see us paying him like we would Talib.
