In eight years in the NFL Michael Huff has zero touchdowns and 11 ints. Why people think he's the second coming of Ed Reed or Champ Bailey I have no ideal.

I don't think Fred Davis will be here next season. Shame. We're going to the Super Bowl.

The fact that he's weighing all these offers tells me he feels disrespected by the money we're offering him. I expect him to not sign back with us. We sign Winfield, giving us the flexibility and freedom to draft a TE with our 2nd rounder.

Todd McShay's newest mock draft has #Redskins drafting Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State at #51.

Can't block but I would be very happy with that pick.

They said his blocking is very coachable. He played at a small school so his coaching and competition isn't NFL caliber. Give him to our TEs coach and hell make him a good/better blocker. Plus Fred couldn't block so it's not a droppoff from what we had. Improvement in my eyes.

I concur. Said the same thing about Gronkowski coming out stating that is run blocking is inconsistent. Now he is one of the better run blocking tight ends in the league. Hopefully they coach run blocking better for him than they did for Fred Davis.

If we take a TE @ 51 , he better be the next coming of M. Bavaro or Kellen Winslow . I just hope we hit big on our first couple of picks !

Depends which players are available. If the good safeties/corners are gone why reach for one that won't have nearly the impact that Escobar might have. It all depends on who is available at the time. Don't do what the Patriots do with corners/safeties, because it obviously never works. Every other position they draft the best player available, yet they reach for corners and safeties and it fails miserably.

All depends who falls to the Skins.

They are starters in the secondary in the 2nd and 3rd round. Yes, its that deep.

Starters yes, but the type of impact Escobar might potentially have would be greater than what might be available. It's not just about finding starters to fill needs, its about finding the best players and getting them on your team. If a player like Trufant, or Elam is available, I would go with them, because they are greater players than Escobar, but if its between Thomas from Syracuse, Alford or Escobar because everyone else was taken, I would go with Escobar.

Redskins can improve on pretty much every position except QB and RB.
