Healthy, focused Harvin is a playmaker and can attack a defense in a lot of different ways.

Injured, head-case Harvin is a pain in the patootie that sulks on the bench.

Maybe the change of scenery will do him good. Carroll's "rah rah" approach will either resonate with Harvin or drive him off the deep end. I don't see a middle ground.

Harvin is a good player but not worth the first round pick that Seattle gave up. IMO Vikes get the value in that deal.

Not sure they gave up a first rounder. I sure wouldn't.

According to the ESPN article they are. It reeks of the Cowboys/Roy Williams trade with the Lions. Like I said, The Hawks already got burnt once before sending a 1st to the Patriots and signing a huge deal for Deion Branch. Guess they didn't learn anything from that or from the Cowboys.

Washington just legalized weed, right? Percy Harvin can benefit from medical marijuana, right? I feel like the NFLPA would back him if he failed a test, because of his legit seizure causing headaches, and the NFL would be a tough position of suspending someone for what he can/will blame for medical reasons. He also has the money to fight it, and more importantly big enough game checks to not not fight it.

The league is definitely not on board when it comes to marijuana.

Marijuana legalization won't change NFL drug policy - NFL.com

Of course not.... at least yet.

But allowing a player with a well documented medical history of severe and dangerous headaches, who by the course of his employment exposes himself to regular head injuries, to use weed for medical reasons in a state where marijuana is legal could be the first step in the inevitability of gradualness the NFL is likely looking for to keep this thing from turning into a very public legal battle as more and more states legalize the weed.

Yeah that's opening up a pretty big can of worms. Not sure the league wants to even touch that anytime soon.
