Re: 4:00 Free Agent Shot Caller
Redskins would have no pass rush without Orakpo, see last year for a prime example. I do not even think Orakpo is elite, but he is definitely the best defensive player on the Skins (used to be Fletcher but I think time has finally caught up to him).

They could wait and see and let him play out his contract year (with the motivation that comes with it). But if he's lights out he will cost a fortune next year. And if he busts we're left with nothing. If Skins are sitting on this fence and another team offers some real value, don't we have to seriously consider? |

Re: 4:00 Free Agent Shot Caller
So this would have been ballsier to call at 4:00 yesterday, but I'm feeling more and more like we won't resign Fred Davis. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm just not seeing how we'll be able to afford what he'll command, not when teams like Miami are shelling out ridiculous money for average players. The FA TEs that have signed so far have all gotten some pretty generous contracts...

Re: 4:00 Free Agent Shot Caller
Same case with 'Zo. I mean, if he goes to Arizona, he's basically saying he's okay with not being on a playoff team for at least the next 2 or 3 years. We'll just have to wait and see...

Browns could still make more deals today. Have some interest in Redskins TE Fred Davis |

His numbers are going be bigger on this team then say CLE. I mean would we have know a guy named Bill Cartwright if he had not played with Micheal Jordan? Hopefully F. Davis sees the big picture in his decision making.
