that is a big key this year. DHall at 8M, or anywhere near that wasn't worth it, but if we get even similar production at a more reasonable cost, I assume that's a win this year.

Not at all. His coverage abilities are comparable to Hall's (i.e. not good) and he's a risk-taker like Hall. Hall just succeeds more often. Hall also already has familiarity with our team and system. But i would imagine he was much cheaper to resign than Hall would be. Personally, i dont think theres much of a market for Hall and if we waited long enough, we probably could have gotten him back at a comparable price.

maybe we can have both if there is no market for Hall.
