I wouldn't necessarily say that. There are a lot of things guys can take or apply over the counter that have banned ingredients in them that can still show up in tests.

The HOW is there are over the counter things guys can pick up and, unless players have every banned substance committed to memory, they could most certainly take something without knowing an ingredient in it is banned.

Bro, these guys have a list of and know what's what. They have dietitians, trainers, and staff going over this shit. If you can commit an NFL playbook to memory, you damn sure can remember a "handful" of banned substances that shouldn't be ingested or going into your body.

I'm sure the NFL would not levy fines and suspensions unless this information was widely disseminated.
