Can you show me any tweets by Griffin that sound like he didn't want to play and coaches made him? I have never heard that spin by Griffin, and it certainly would be a wholesale change from what he had been saying. |

Wow. Guess RG3 cant please everyone. I guess if he actually did something worth criticizing I'd understand it.

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
The problem is nobody took the responsibility to get him out of the game, probably because everyone assumed someone else held that responsibility. Whether you are of the mindset that the player needs to sit himself or that it's the coach who should make the call or if you think a sideline doctor or trainer needs to speak up. I'm sure lessons were learned. Now tweets are made and the world continues to spin. RG3 is probably light-heartedly stirring up stuff now just to get a good laugh at people's ridiculously misplaced prerogatives.

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
So has RG3 actually said anything new recently about the Seattle game or are people still going off what he said about a month ago?

Robert Griffin Jr. wants Robert Griffin III of Washington Redskins to throw more, run less - ESPN
This is a perfect example.

I am sure many dads think their sons bosses could do things differently. The reason this gets playtime, is because stories about Griffin generate views. Thus they want more stories about Griffin. I will say this, the best discussion I have seen from Griffin on the Seattle game, and the end of last season, came in the ESPN magazine a few weeks back. If you haven't read it, you should, it gives a very good portrait of the whole situation. |

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
Nothing new and now Jason Reid wrote an article saying "Shanny needs to revamp - RGIII obviuosly not happy". No indication that RGIII is unhappy or, really, for any of his assertions but it is now being discussed as if it were a fact.
Opinion morphs to factual information, welcome to the internet.

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
Bottom line look at the game he got injured in, the Ravens game was a pass play that he scrambled and didnt get down quick enough. His injury was not due to the style of offense we played last year.

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
I don't care about all of this made up problems with the staff, his ego, or anything else. This kid is a baller and the face of the franchise and is heading towards being the face of the NFL.
It will never end, but believe me I still love the kid we met about a year ago and still believe he is the same person as when he got here. Man crush continues from ArtMonkforHall!!!

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
John Keim is saying that griffin is looking good in OTAs planting his foot and throwing.
RG3 on the field, throwing passes at Redskins’ OTAs | ProFootballTalk @john_keim: Griffin is throwing during the ota session. Dropbacks. Plant and throw at times. Sometimes more off front foot. #Redskins
