Re: F... Selling Tickets to the Visiting Team

I still think this whole thought process is silly. at the HOF game we were "the greatest fans", now because another team a couple hours away, and with lots of local supporters, actually supports their team the We are "the worst fans". If the Skins had scored 2 TDs, the fans would have been rocking. And the pics would have been of the Steeler fans leaving hanging there heads. We lost, it went the other way. Don't turn it into some fight among ourselves...

Bleatings From a Caps Nut: About Monday Night...

Quote:
We'd venture it is pretty safe to say that a majority of Pittsburgh fans at the Redskins-Steelers game on Monday night were already living in this area. We can assure you that was the case of the Pittsburgh fan sitting right next to us in the seats that we own. No, we didn't bring our brother-in-law or our other sister's idiot boyfriend with us; we donated our extra ticket back to the Redskins for a tax write-off: Redskins Replay.

So yep, through a program that the Redskins set up to help "children in need, people battling life-threatening illnesses, active military members and families coping with a traumatic situation" a fan for the other team got in for free. He certainly wasn't a child in need though being a refugee from Pittsburgh could probably qualify "as coping with a traumatic situation." The same thing happened with our extra ticket for the Saints game too back in September (though was it clearly a child sitting next to us.)

This wasn't fun to read, but you gotta admit Wilbon makes some good points about our fans, FedEx field, and NFL games in general.

I can't either but apparently people want to justify selling their tickets to the opposing team. You must have struck a nerve.

Actually, I think it is 50/50 people wanting to bash those who do, those who do making their points.

Either way, seems like the points have been made...

Bring a crying towel for McNabb and some bandages for Westbrook with you too.

With continuing the theme of this thread, I blame last night's loss on the Philly fans that sold their tickets to the obnoxious giant fans. wait JK. Defeated fair and square.

Another divisional loss (0-3). How dont know how many opportunities we were given to win that game, but we just couldnt capitalize. It was poor play calling at the end. McNabb should of been throwing screens instead of westbrook running the ball.

But, thats spilled milk. Maybe the Ravens will have better luck next week.

Re: F... Selling Tickets to the Visiting Team

I just called the Redskins ticket office and picked up 2 club-level seats for the Dallas game. I go to this game every year, and it is extra nice knowing that these are at least two tickets that Cowboys fans won't snap up!
