I want Colt McCoy and Mike Holmgren to be our new coach and QB. I'll settle for Shanahan or Cower too.

Yeah im surprised theres not so many of these after one whole game where we lost on the road to a top 5 team where we played a B game. Nothing wrong with Zorn. We may need to look at a guy like McCoy or Bradford next year but lets worry about this one first.

Re: can WE now start a countdown to a new coach and qb

There were a bunch of problems with Sunday's game. The turnovers, some terrible secondary play between Hall- who just looks pitifull (wish springs was still on the roster) and Landry- he's immature and he's a better SS than FS. We drafted him to be the prototypical SS next to Taylor, and that combo probably would have dominated.

The O-line wasn't terrible against the likes of the Giants D-Line. But it's only WEEK ONE!
Next up: Rams, Lions, Bucs, Panthers, Chiefs.

We can get 3/4 easily, and I think we can beat the panthers if we learn how to stuff the run. Our own running game seems to always take 2-3 games to kick into high gear anyway.

We have the next two games to really get things going into some good rhythm.
That's what I'm looking forward to.

So I agree that he's never going to be elite, but who are you proposing we bring in to replace him that is elite? We know what we have in Collins and please don't start with the guy who barely held on to the 3rd string job before getting IR'd.

Zorn is out of his depth. He's going to look really good over the next few weeks in winning games that we should win but in games vs. the top teams and coaches, it's clear how over matched he is. The Giants suited up 3 CB yesterday. THREE! How are you not running them all over the field? Why are you running dive plays down 2 possessions on 2nd and 8? Why are you calling for a WR pass on the 2nd play from scrimmage? How do you not call at least one fade pattern with 1st and goal inside the 8? How do you call a WR screen on the 5!?!? Zorn lost my confidence in the preseason with how he handled the starters in the preseason games as if we were coming off of a Super Bowl run and both units were clicking on all cylinders. Yesterday reinforced my thoughts and doubts.
I generally agree with you, but the 3rd down play where Tuck sacked Campbell (I believe) there was a fade route on, but Kelly ran it horribly. I also don't think it was the first read.

I remember the replay seeing Cooley not really run much of a route, Randle El not open and Kelly damn near running the fade all the way out of bounds. He needed to give Campbell more room to throw the ball, if he had thrown it there was probably a .5% chance Kelly comes down in bounds.

I haven't lost faith in Zorn as you have, however, he does need to make a lot of adjustments. It's time to become a passing team.

You are an idiot.

I dont blame JC for yesterday's loss. The Skins gave up 3 draft picks for him so I suspect most thought he'd be better than he is.

The Skins didnt run because they have no O-line. Its just not good enough to compete with the high level teams.

I dissagree with you the line did a good job and only on the play that Tuck was given a free shot at Portis did they trully "mess up"... They did well against maybe the best Dline in football. Campbell lost all my confidence in him as a starter. He held the ball to long and made bad decisions. We need to sign Jeff Garcia before its too late!

I agree Zorn is just over his head. It had a chance to be a real feel good story about a hippie from Seattle coming to a major market and being our next HOF coach but in the end he looks like a two year old in the deep end of the pool with no floaties.

I like the Jeff Garica idea a lot, I mean this season is most likely done, he would make it exiciting. I know this is only week one but in Danny's mind this is a throw away season, Zorn and Campbell fail get high draft pick and pick up one of the high profile coachs. Already have a strong defense, new coach comes in rebuilds the offense and we are off and running in a couple of years.

Your right Zorn needs help like a special Off assistant. Someone who knows and has had success with the west coast. Jeff Garcia maybe a good idea but I dont think its campbell is play calling. They better pick him up before Carolina does.

I meant more to say this is a throw away season. Zorn and Campbell are on a short leash if they fail this year they are both gone, Danny is drolling over the coaches he can have next year and the high draft pick. IF you are a betting man you would bet that Zorn and Campbell are going to fail.

Almost half of Campbell’s yards came on that TD drive to Cooley when the Giants were playing prevent defense having been up by 2 TD’s. 73% completion percentage is easy when you’re throwing check downs to your TE, slot receiver and RB’s.

This is more telling.

#1 receiver – Moss – 2 catches for 6 yards
#2 receiver – Kelly – 1 catch for 6 yards

Sorry to pick on you dude, but comments like this just seem like people who latch onto media commentary and don't actually base things on fact. Other than the fumble and INT, what bad decisions/held the ball too long did he make? In the scheme of the whole game, can you really point to those 2 plays as the entire reason we lost?

Please detail to me his 'bad decisions' and times where he 'held the ball too long'. If you already had your mind made up before the game that he wasn't the answer at QB, I'm cool with that, but say it, don't act as if there were things that happened yesterday to push you over that edge.
