Lets hope so, but the trend seems to be looking at power guys, a little different from the shanahan norm (slim, athletic, agile OL). Whatever he does, there is one thing for certain.

You bring up an outstanding point that I didn't think about.

please don't even try to compare a player like flozell, who is very penalized and dirty, to the hogs, I don't know a better class of OLmen then them and Chris Samuels was a Great Hog on a mediocre line, Flozell would be more like a runt sent to an early death...

haha, very true...but he'd be better than a hoggette! I still think Heyer is a mini hog...he'd be a good guy to have as a backup though...just don't see him as a long term RT in this league.

other guys will get cut, become available for cheap, etc as the off-season goes on

We didn't let those guys go...they weren't serious in signing with us anyways. Clifton especially used us just to get the Packers to pay him more and I have my suspicions about Pashos also. I've heard it directly from GB fans.
