Re: LOL @ Redskins

This was The Eagles in their finest hour.Thats all it was. Did we get our ass kicked? Yes. will this happen again to us? No, it was a once in a lifetime game. I will not give up on us, we still have 3 division games left.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

most of us were loving the D when they were getting all those turnovers.

im confused, to be honest this year it is hard for me to see what adjustments we make in game on the d side of the ball. its just hard to tell what kind of D we are playing on any given play watching on the tv.

Unfortunately we don't have the offense to convert those turnover into points. I'd be curious to know what points of turnover stat for the Skins this season looks like.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

Points From Turnovers

Before the bye, Washington had approximately 9 INTs and 9 Fumbles Recovered for a total of 18 Takeaways.

Since two of those takeaways ended the game (or the Redskins ran out the clock), let's say 16 true take aways.

From 16 Takeaways, the Redskins got 4 TDs and 3 FGs.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

By the way did anyone else see TO's tweet about Donovan's contract?

T.O. claims his brother posted the anti-Donovan Twitter message | ProFootballTalk

Or his brother's tweet, as TO claimed

Donovan had a good response though. Bengals are 2-7, or something like that, so who's he to talk

People wonder why guys like Moss and Owens will never win a SB? This is why, Cancers in the locker room almost never succeed, which is why AH will be cut after the season

Re: LOL @ Redskins

The Eagles would have beaten any team in the NFL by at least 10 points last night IMO. Vick was that good, it was QB perfection. In fact if someone can find a video of a bad play he made last night I'd love to see it cuz I don't remember a single one. That being said...

Sorry to but I can't help but question the 3-4 again. I think 90% here agree the current roster is much better suited for the 4-3. I just picture a DL of Carter, Orakpo, LoAx, and a MOTIVATED AH. Plus the first three guys are athletic enough that we could use a lot of "exotic looks" with the DLs dropping back into coverage etc.

Another problem I see with the 3-4 is its complexity. I'm no X O expert but what I like about the 3-4 is all the different looks you can show at the line. It can make things very confusing for the opposing offense. The flip side is that it can also be confusing for the defense. Guys are switching positions and assignments from play to play and you really need some cerebral guys out there who know what the hell is going on, otherwise a good offense will make you run around like chickens. Unfortunately Fletcher is the only guy with a brain on this D (maybe Rak and Los too), and Hall and Landry ain't winning a Nobel Prize in physics anytime soon.

Maybe it just takes time/players like others keep saying (I sure hope so). But couldn't we have started with a 4-3 and transitioned to a 3-4 as the right players were added? Plus where are we getting all these players from? We need 4 OLs at least!

Whatever... rant over.

I don't think TO's or Moss' teams lost the SB because they were locker room cancers. Honestly, AH being a so called "cancer" is the least of our team's concern right now.

Thats the 2 nd time this year TO said something, first the benching and now this. Its funny, this dude was all over McNabb's nutz when he didnt have a team and was a free agent now look at him. Kudos to Shanny for not going after this little girl.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

Haynesworth. I like the guy. He's as valuable asset. But... Last night....

Just pointing something out and I dunno if anyone else heard/saw this... Trevor Maitich commented on the post-game that the play where Vick had 8 seconds to run around in the pocket near our goal line Haynesworth made penetration into the pocket, fell on his face... and stayed there, while Orakpo is busting his balls trying to get away from the o-lineman and get to Vick.

I don't know if anyone actually saw that on the replay but if that's any sign to the type of effort the Skins were putting into the Monday night game... That's absolutely friggin inexcusable.
