All I know about that episode is the books did that scene so much better because it leads into building certain key character aspects of Rick and Carl. This scene is so key for later in this series and I just hope next season with the Govenor makes up for some of these drastic changes. It's really hard to talk about how many different things this one scene leads to in the novels without spoiling anything for potential future story lines so I won't, even though it looks like I won't have to worry about that with how this season has gone haha.

re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
Yes but with no involvement of Rick. In the books Shane has Rick dead to rights in his scopes while they are out hunting and Carl comes upon this and shoots him dead. Yeah in the books Shane is barely a blip on the radar of the story line, except with how this effects Carl down the line. How far are you into the books?

RAGE. I want to talk about this, but don't want to spoil it for anyone.
This was easily the most intense Walking Dead I've seen since the first season. I mean DAMN.

re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
I've since read up on the zombie rules which explains how what happened....happened. I've been into the whole zombie thing previously, so i'm out of my depth.

Alright I edited the thread title, let's get into this.
So is everyone a carrier, or has getting exposed to their blood made them infected? |

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
From what I read, everyone is already infected, it's death that triggers the virus to make you turn into a zombie. The zombies themselves seem to carry a more potent form in their saliva that causes death and subsequently then transformation. Supposedly that is the effect of what the scientist at the CDC whispered into Rick's ear before they left.

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
I don't know how I feel about that. I mean it makes the whole show all about them trying to find a cure now, but basically that means that unless they do, no matter the result, everyone turns into a zombie.

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
LOL.
Absolutely though. My wife and I looked at each other after it was each and were like, "DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!" I hate/love that show because I'll get EXTRA hooked and I looked at the time left on the DVR and it's like 10 minutes. We are so hooked on it, it's crazy.

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
I truly cannot stomach Comic Book Men and I love Kevin Smith. Maybe it's the fact that they guilt me into it just to see the previews, but I don't watch it out of spite!

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
I was randomly reading some stuff about the show and came across this old article... Picking Zombie Brains: John Bernthal, Star of 'The Walking Dead,' Hometown Boy | Washington Post Express
Turns out Jon Bernthal, who played Shane, is from DC and is a huge Skins fan. Kinda cool. I know Dalton Ross, a writer for ew.com who covers the show is also from DC and Redskins fan. I wonder if they talked about the team during interviews.
