Wrong. Davis needs to keep running on that one. He sure seemed to play better when he had Cooley on his heels...

Man, I swear these picks when Davis is being thrown too...I'm starting to think it might be Davis.

It looked like it. Looked like Davis was slow getting to the ball.

Exactly. He almost stopped. If he had kept running he would have caught that pass in stride.

I think teams are keying on Davis now that everyone knows that is half of our entire pass game...

Plus... Beck looked at him the entire route there.

I really wanted to think we could still be 8-8 this season. But all these games with no offensive push.. I think 6-10 seems like more of a reality. I refuse to believe 4-12

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread

Fred Davis is probably a foot taller and at least 20 lbs heavier than that DB, he needs to attack the ball and not let DBs get to the ball that quick. Beck is not perfect, but Davis needs to use his physical advantage and be quicker to get to the ball.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread

Beck looks very nervous when he drops back to pass. His passes are off target.
