Geesh. Racism here, racism there.

I would have never thought that "boy" could be racist.

What does "girl" mean?

If we replace them with "male" and "female", does it offend the sexually-confused now?

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK in a debut game? That's insane. We're very lucky right now. We need to really appreciate these days...he could be a once-in-a-lifetime player for Redskins fans.

not to hijack, but honestly, if the bolded statement is true then you are in a parallel universe, or extremely naive (which I don't believe). The term "boy" is an extremely derogative and racist reference, period end of statement.

In a racism context, it'd actually be, "gal". Feels weird when I have someone call me that.

Anywaaaay.

Re: Kudos to RG III

That whole article should have been boiled down to one quote:

Madden: "...RGIII’s the best player in the NFL today."

I suggest everyone on this board who has showtime, watch inside the NFL at 9, I expect to hear great things and analysis from Cris Collinsworth and Phil Simms

I think his basic point is how he can freeze a defense with the option stuff, like Tebow. Outside of that I don't think there's any comparing the two.

Re: Kudos to RG III

Do they run the option with Vick in Philly?

From what I have seen, Griff is something completely different from Vick and Tebow. Neither of them is the pure passer that RGIII is. Vick is a running threat that has a rocket arm and Tebow is all about the option. Griff can run, has a rocket arm and plays the option well. At the same time, even at this early stage of his career, he is so far ahead of both of them as a passer that the comparisons are incomplete at best. His ability as a passer makes a better running threat than Vick and a better option QB than Tebow.

Agreed. Griff has field vision that Vick lacks. It is hard to imagine Vick making that big throw to Davis the other day because Vick likely would not have seen him.

Re: Kudos to RG III

After last week's victory, does Griffin III have the highest selling jersey in the NFL right now?
