The only difference there is that this team has Peyton Manning at the helm, the "Dream Team" was a bunch of overpriced names in a THIN free agent market that year, and Mike Vick was at the helm. Completely different. I could see the Broncos rolling past the 72 dolphins record this upcoming year. The guys that they have signed are all good quality players, good quality personalities, and they must care about winning. Everyone knows what is on the line, and I think Peyton retires after this year with an undefeated season and SB, thus etching his name into the granite as the greatest qb of all time.

Love the Broncos moves, wish the skins would make some............

(Im also glad that Ware is out of the division, the Cowboys are weaker, and I think the eagles are about to crash back down from the clouds this year. Perfect season for RG3 to find his lost mojo.)

They have to play San Fran and Seattle this year. Not to mention Indy NE and Arizona. They will lose a couple of games.

Re: NFL Free Agents Signings Thread

I do think the Broncos are in good shape to make a run at a dream team style approach (unlike the Eagles that year). They know they have 2 years at most with Manning, after that, it will be a rookie or other replacement qb and Manning's cap number comes off the books. A lot depends on making sure they don't screw up the numbers, but if you got the cap space and Manning for 2 years, #winnow.

How it's just getting laughable! I guess everyone wants to play with Peyton.

Golden Tate just signed with Detroit for 5 years.

Nothing nice about signing a bunch of 30+ vets and buying a championship. Just ask the Skins of 02-10

Yeah, except this collection of vets is more accomplished that the folks we cobbled together. And they have Peyton Manning, whereas our starting QBs in 2002-2010 are not even allowed to visit the hall of fame.
