D.J. Swearinger released
DJ plays with heart, and works extremely hard. He’s one of the best safeties in the NFL. No one disputes that.
What is Bruce Allen, Jay Gruden or Greg Manusky in this league? What have they done expect nothing? DJ said he watches more film than the coaching staff. I’d believe that AND THATS THE PROBLEM. The fact that we have to compare DJ and HHCD to ST and Landry in terms of skills, means we really haven’t had a good safety duo in an extremely long time because DJ is above average and HHCD is fucking terrible.

I still believe Swearinger wasn’t far off from the truth, but you don’t go to the press about this stuff. That being said, look for Manusky to be let go by season’s end.
