Re: Post draft breakdown
B also,
Was really hoping for a LB and despite only 11 games I think that has to lend itself to the upside. Remember guys like Joel Embiid who had only played a few years of bball and was projected 1 before his injury. |

Re: Post draft breakdown
Cosmi was a hit, Jamin Davis has been NOWHERE near worth a top 20 pick.

Re: Post draft breakdown
Davis needs more seasoning. I think veteran presence is needed in that group and it’s NOT Bostic

Re: Post draft breakdown
Yeah it is a headscratcher choosing a first round project pick and then not having the field leadership to help scaffold the player. I think they thought RR and JDR would fill that niche.

Re: Post draft breakdown
Bates has shown he can play. He's got some nice potential I think.

Re: Post draft breakdown
I really think he’s been quietly good. He’s been a great blocker. He fills that TE2 role well.
Just hoping Logan returns healthy

Re: Post draft breakdown
It's too early to draw too many conclusions about J Davis. He has all the tools, and could still be a good player with some more experience. He barely played the first six games, and even with the state of that position group, there are only a few games since then that he was on the field for the majority of defensive snaps.

@JHawkChalk_
3h Can #WashingtonFootball fans give some love to John Bates? 1st in the NFL in @PFF Run Blocking Grade for TEs 12.8 Yards Per Reception (9th in the NFL for TEs) 13th most receiving yards among rookie WRs & TEs Not bad for a day 3 rookie with limited college production. |

Re: Post draft breakdown
As a rookie? That's a big ask.
Andrews had 34 catches as a rookie just for some perspective. |

Really hoping Logan Thomas can come back healthy cause those 2 TE sets could be nasty.

Re: Post draft breakdown
We have the pieces there just need that QB. It is amazing how important that franchise QB is. Saints won the division went 12-4 last year. You lose Brees and they are us.
