Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

No one can sit here and defend the playcalling today.

It is CONSERVATIVE like no other. Pretty much all runs, and NO deep passes.

Terrible, terrible.

I guess it's up to the D in this one. The offense just can't get anything going, we really need to get healthy up front.

Barry Sanders was the best ever IMO, and he never did crap like that. Even when he scored a TD, he dropped the ball and went back to the huddle. He was true class, and unfortunately the NFL lacks a lot of class now-a-days. I think the NFL is dead on with those penalties.

Our biggest play of the day was Randel-El's catch and run for 26 yards. And that one "big" play was 17% of our total offense today.

Maybe we need to start going into halftime tied or down, maybe then more than the same 15 plays will be used.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I think that's a clear reflection of how beat up we are up front. The few times JC has looked to go deep he hasn't had good protection.

Something's wrong with this offense today. It's not the offense we've seen over the past few games and its NOT the line, its the playcalling again.
That's not what the play was. It was a safety valve pass since our receivers down field were covered.

He did get a screen today. Got about 4-5 yards on it. That's all he's seen today.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

I am so pissed at the play calling, I still don't see why it has to be on the defense.

The offense cant get anything going because they have been given no options(AKA terrible playcalling).

Letting them play means don't throw flags and let the game get taken out of the players hands. Two big penalties on that drive kept the Cards alive.
