Count me in on the cautiously optismistic side. While it's a big move from QB coach to Head Coach, I don't think such a think is entirely unprecedented. I could be wrong on that.
Also, it's not like Zorn is a newcomer to the Pro Game. He's been in it on a variety of levels for quite some time. I imagine we will be having a new OC with Zorn focusing on QB's and the general coaching duties. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but a got a good vibe on this.

If we could give Spurrier a chance, I certainly like Zorn's chances given that the defensivde side of the ball should be stable. Also if I'm not mistaken aren't teams with new coaches allowed to start OTA's earlier. JC and the offense will need all the extra time they can get with the new playbook JZ will clone from Seattle.

I am actually excited about this. The guy is clearly respected in the league and apparentlky is a good Xs and Os guy. The question of course is his leadership ability. One would have to assume snyder understands the value of leadership since having Gibbs around. If they "fell in love" with the guy then maybe they see the leadership potential.
