Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
If OT is deep in this draft and there's a talented guy there for us I hope Shanny takes him. We've been lucky Trent has stayed relatively healthy, because there's nobody to back him up worthy of a roster spot. And RT is still a weakness, unless they know Pashos will recover fully from injury. If Turd Ferguson is (still) starting at RT opening day it'll be hard to call this off-season a success.

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
I put my mock in the wrong damn thread:
Also here is my final redskins mock draft 2. Terrance Williams WR Baylor 3. Duke Williams S Nevada 4. Montori Hughes DT Tennessee Martin 5. Brandon McGee CB Miami 5. Mychal Riveria TE Tennessee 6. Bradley McDougald FS Kansas 7. Sam Barrington LB South Florida Judging by the fact that they've met with Duke Williams so much, I think he gets taken a round earlier than he's supposed to. From what I've read and heard, we haven't talked to Terrance Williams, but of course A) that doesn't mean anything under shanahan (see Jay Cutler in 06 draft) and B) RG3 knows enough about him to give them the info they want on him. Every year theres a position which we the fans really think we need, we get it, just a lot later when a lot of the guys we want are gone or we find out the skins never had interest in some of the guys we liked. Hence why McGee is being picked in round 5 as opposed to a Mathieu in round 3 or 4 or Poyer in round 3 or a (I don't want either) UConn CB in round 2-3. Also the redskins only draft seniors under shanahan/allen (except for RG3) so all these guys are seniors and some are senior bowl participants which they like as well. Then there tends to be drafts where we don't draft a position of need at all. RT would be that in this draft. Hell we already have Compton, Polumbus, Pashos, and Trueblood, so I don't see Allen drafting a RT unless a good one has a kirk cousins like fall (projected to go 2 rounds earlier). The guy I would get, Reid Fragel we haven't talked to yet from what I've gathered on Twitter/here/elsewhere. You could also include 3rd down back in this discussion. Also we like to draft positions of little need earlier than we need to. DE/DT Montori Hughes would be that in round 4 for us. Finally we like to draft guys you've never heard of. Hello Bradley McDougald and Sam Barrington! we love drafting players from SMU (Zach Line is SMU's peyton Hillis basically, but we don't need that with Darrell Young and Alfred. Margus hunt is going early.) Keep these names in mind just incase we go with 3 straight years of an SMU player; ILB Taylor Reed, WR Darius Johnson, C Blake McJunkin, and OLB Ja'Garead Davis. We also draft 3 Nebraska players in a row. So heres some Nebraska names for you all to remember. OLBs Eric Martin and Cameron Meredith, FS Daimion Stafford, RB Rex Burkhead, ILB Will Compton, DE Baker Steinkuhler, TE Ben Cotton. I expect at least 1 trade by us, its a matter of when not if. I didn't include the trade because I have zero clue what it would be and where.

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
Now that we re-signed D. Hall and got Biggers I think Safety is the only position we HAVE to use a pick on with one of our 1st 3 picks (2nd-4th round), otherwise, I think we can go with BPA and keep adding the best talent available to our team. My favorite safeties in this draft are Matt Elam (doubt he'll be around at 51) and P. Thomas, but whoever the Redskins think is best I'll be happy with.

He's out best player outside of the obvious. I agree I'd like some LT depth

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
The more I think about it, the less I am set at anyone position - even defensive backfield. Outside QB or DL, the Skins have need for depth everywhere. Sure, it would be great to pick up a DB who could start game one, and in round two they have a shot at that. With that said, however, are defensive backfield was functional during the seven game streak. If Merriweather, Orakpo and Carriker (primarily the first two) come back well, it shores up the D a lot.
The Skins could use upgrades in starters at DB & OL(RT) and have need for depth at ILB & TE. At WR and/or RB they could use another playmaker for depth. At the same time, the current roster won the NFC East. Not sure anyone in the division has particularly upgraded themselves, or will do so in the draft, to pass us by. B/c of that outside of QB, DL and possibly RB, I would say they grab the BPA in the second round, regardless of position. In the third, focus on DB or OL - where ever the BPA is. After that, BPA down the line. THey

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
I think this draft solidifies our depth more than anything. Training camp and preseason we should see good battles, and hopefully find emerging talent across the line. Not having a pick till number 64 next season will be rough though!

Yes, but the Salary cap penalty will gone. We will able to make up for that with cap space to sign talent in Free Agency.

I don't know, i wouldn't hate it but if he could trade back and get him that would be better. But he definitely has the talent to be a star but he is a headcase. but his game reminds me a lot of Dez Bryant.

Re: Post Your Redskins Mock Draft Here
Actually, we got Rambo in the 6th.
P. Thomas was the 4th round safety - which was about where folks were saying he would be going. (4th/5th).
