Eh, Manziel is kind of a douche, but then so is RGIII if we're being honest. All the great QBs have a little bit of that. I think it just comes with the territory, and the cockiness/confidence/swagger that's needed at that position.

I think Manziel will succeed in the NFL, although Gordon getting suspended won't help.

Self promotion is good though. Self promotion means more endorsements, which means more money, which hopefully means a more cap friendly contract after his rookie deal expires.

he's done nothing but take shots at shanahan since he was fired. he's still taking shots.

off the field he's a raging douche at this point. the fact that he has so much influence over the organization is deeply concerning to me right now.

i hope 2012 was just a small sample of what he's capable of on the field, because off the field isn't looking so great right now.

oh and remember how last year he was like 'I don't need preseason'? Someone obviously talked to him, he did a 180 the day after. But for a split second we got a clear view of what his mentality actually is.

there is a thin line between being confident and cocky.

RG3 has def stayed on the side of confident.

Manziel has def stayed on the side of cocky.

both are necessary for glory positions like QB or WR or CB.



but please - lets not turn this into a RG3 and manziel comparison thread. RG3 is nothing like manziel.
