Jason Garrett on Cowboys' D: 'Sometimes they did OK' - NFL.com

Sorry, boys. "Sometimes OK" won't be good enough.

What are the chances Garrett is fired after this season? Unfortunately, I'd say pretty high.

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

I recently read a book called "Boy Will Be Boys." It's about the Cowboys from the time Jimmy Johnson took over until Switzer's last year. It's not surprising at all that Jones is messing around on his wife. According to this book, he's been doing it for years. They could have a set up where they have an open marriage or she let's him do his thing. I personally don't care as he wasn't breaking any laws, just probably embarrassed himself and his family. And I guaranntee he's not the only owner doing it.

Another 8-8 should do it.

Although it sure would be great to see them bottom out and go 4-12 or something.

Robert Griffin III - Friday Funnies for August 8, 2014 - ESPN

some cool pics. reminded me the players are actually human beings underneath the pads.

the pic of romo signing autographs reminded me of why NFL teams should have a kids only section so grown folks who sell memorabilia for a living dont hog the moment.

Foles and Barkley stunk it up. Sanchez played pretty well. Eagles depth on defense simply isn't any good. Their 2nd and 3rd stringers looked horrible.

Clearly the NFL wants Manziel to win his first game.
Edit sarcasm lost after 3 straight def holding calls leading to Detroit TD

Are you really putting any stock into these games?

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

I'm sure if Griffin threw 2 picks the other night we'd have nothing to say about it.

Everyone knows the games are fixed.

BTW bet on Jacksonville, they've already been installed as the new Super Bowl champions.

Can we all agree that Chris Thompson is too injury prone to be worth a roster spot?

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

fter Robert Griffin III struggled in joint practices with New England last week, members of the Patriots organization opined to ESPN.com's Mike Reiss that Kirk Cousins was the best quarterback on the Redskins roster.
Reiss specifically cited Cousins' edge in "running the offense, fine-tuned mechanics and how decisively the ball came out of his hand."
