You obviously haven't seen him much last year, because you're giving him too much credit. He just isn't that much better than McCoy and that's the fact.

Play AP as much as we can and make sure Guice gets through the year healthy. We will somehow manage a few wins, but within striking distance to trade up for Tua.

Keenum is 31 Years old, he is who he is. In Minnesota his career year with A Loaded offense he only managed 22 TDs. Last years Case is about what u get. 18 Tds - 15 Ints.

If he is QB1 going into this season, we better hope Guice and AD run wild.

I don't know if I'm missing something, but how loaded was the Vikings offense, aside from having Diggs and Thielin that year? Because Dalvin Cook got hurt in game 4 that year and going into the season, Thielin was just a WR and he broke out that season.

I feel the Vikings and Keenum's success had more to do with the Vikes' defense being elite, rather than having a "loaded offense."

Granted, that we probably don't have two good WRs in our team, but perhaps with a good defense and running game, Keenum can recreate some of his magic from 2017.

Rudolph at TE, Murray at RB1.

They had plenty of talent for today's NFL.

We don't have 1 guy anywhere close to Diggs or Thielen

Draft a rookie and start him day one. Period.

We're going to go with Keenum or Rosen. If we draft a rookie it means Jay has been given some sort of assurances he'll be given time with a rookie, and that's my worst case scenario. Lame duck coaches don't want rookie QBs.

Rosen makes the most sense, his style fits Jays offense more than Haskins, Grier , etc.

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

It's clear as crystal that the Redskins must draft more than one QB.....I see no QB worthy of a 1st rd pick except Murray and maybe Haskins...a QB can be taken in the 2nd or 3rd round and another QB can be added later in the draft....Colt McCoy will be ready for the season but once in 2014 and again in 2018 he's shown that he gets injured when he's given the keys to the offense...and to hell with Josh Johnson....if they make Johnsin a 3rd QB so be it....if Colt McCoy played for New England or Pittsburgh he would have been traded by now....our front office has a competence problem of being unable to let go of players that are average....such as Colt McCoy and Rob Kelley.

But I have no problem with Case Keenum starting.

I don't think JJ is under contract, they never resigned him after last year.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...or-josh-rosen/

Giants are pursuing Rosen, I bet they get him due to the 2 #1's , I would not offer #15 for him if Im the skins.

Let the Giants have him if they plan on giving up 1.17. I'd really rather not give up a 1st.

Yeah I like him but he's not that much better than Haskins or Lock IMO so I'm fine with a rookie QB

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

Found Jay Gruden and Bruce Allen's interviews interesting.

Jay doesn't think Haskins is NFL-ready and will need at least a year on the bench. Jay doesn't believe in carrying 3 QBs on the roster. Jay says he doesn't know what the offense will look like in 2019 and they'll adjust it based on who they draft. Bruce thinks we're fine with Case and Colt.

Now, this is the time of year where everyone lies, but i think we can rule out drafting Haskins unless he falls. I mean, it would be rather awkward to draft a guy your head coach publically criticized. I also think it means that if we do draft a QB high, Colt probably will be cut. Which, i would not be a fan of, as he's the only QB who knows the system. he'd be very valuable helping a rookie QB learn the offense.

Common sense would tell you to keep 3 when your backup is McCoy. Especially after last year. The offense was at a high school level once Colt went out. But I do think that since they like having only 2 then Colt could be in trouble.

I'm not sure why Snyder allows Allen to have make any kind of comment or decision on the QB's since he's already shown he's incompetent in that area.
