Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread
BTW, I was surprised that Bates didn’t get a little more PT against the Cowboys. I thought he looked good the week before. I’d be curious to see what he could do; Seals-Jones didn’t really do much.

Seals-Jones was pathetic. I'm up for more Bates, he looks like he's going to be a solid TE.

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread
Went through the All 22 of this game.
D played well overall. A couple of drive where they moved the ball on us, but minus a couple of big throws I thought secondary displayed good coverage. Again, they allowed one TD. DL with a solid game both against the run and the pass. Interestingly, I think they saw somewhat of a weakness against the swim move in the Cowboys Oline. Don't remember seeing that many swim moves from our guys before: Allen Settle Another freak play by Allen With how much Holcomb has been ripped for some coverage mistakes, I actually think he's more than decent in coverage, and had a very solid game. Here a very good coverage on Elliott: Very solid play by Curl, love to see our DBs make those: We praised Collins for playing well since the switch to an LBish role, rightfully so. But it looks to me like he's at fault on the TD. Isn't he? And I hated his and McCain's missed tackles on this 3rd down late in the 1st half: On offense, yes Heinicke had a bad game. And he did miss a couple of guys open down field(examples below), but he was under a lot of pressure, and it's not like guys were running wide open on every play. And let's not forget he also made this throw...

French and Bullock need to do a split substack.

Haha I don't have 10% of his knowledge. I should actually subscribe to his breakdowns, but I'm not sure I'll have the time and energy to read em... I'm a slow reader, for football I prefer audio content.
Are some of you guys subscribing to Bullock's website ? I actually just chill out watching the All 22 with some music or a podcast in the background ^^

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread
TH didn't have a good game, but I believe that was down to the pressure the Cowboys got on him early and often. No opportunity to settle into any kind of rhythm. I kind of blame Turner as much as the OL; we came out passing instead of trying to establish our usual run game, which also didn't allow the offense as a whole to get into a rhythm. When we play them again, I really hope Turner learnt some lessons from this one and tries to run it down their throats instead.

Now again, take away a couple of BS penalties away and it may be a completely different ball game. Maybe trailing so early affected Turner's playcalling.
