Re: Lavar Gone
Last time we will ever hear lavar talk for so long(maybe at his HOF induction but i think he will talk for like 30 minutes today). JT show starting at 4:00PM. One thing for sure... this is going to be very awkward...
I guess this will be their last interview(JT and Lavar) that is sad. Really this is going to be awkward. |

Re: Lavar Gone
Maybe now we'll start to see more love heading Marcus Washington's way. Since his first game here, all MW does week in and week out is put up at the very least, THE VERY LEAST (sorry for yelling) a solid, for the most part mistake-free performance. And then there are days where he simply dominates.
But I guess because he's not out there on talk shows, or singing commercial jingles he-in my opinion-is seriously overlooked nationwide, even by Redskins fans. Here's to you Marcus Washington

Re: Lavar Gone
They are playing bad to bone in the background coupled with audio of great lavar plays…
They called him there personal favorite. The said old number 56- lavar opened by laughing and saying actually old 56 now… "We came to that agreement. We came to the best choice that business wise, economic wise this was the best way. The best way was this for the skins to get under the cap. Others have an opportunity to stay here. I took that sacrifice"(you can hear his baby crying in the background) "Deal was not done in malice or in hate" "It ended on a sour note though. I had the opportunity to play in this great city. I am fond of the fans and it is an awesome experience. It is beneficial for both sides to cut their losses." “Cba deal didn’t seem to be taken into consideration.” “I felt in the beginning it would work out” “we highlighted a pretty rocky season with a great ending” “ the redskins are building something” “In the nfl, or in any sport… a lot of times, in my career its been like a game of Russian roulette. When you pull it six times you are going to lose once. I had a lot of coaches” “ the trigger was pulled finally with this coaching staff” “ I felt accepted by the other coaches but from day one I didn’t” “ “all I have ever tried to do is fit in coach, and do what was best for my teammates and coaches” “ a lot was said about me not fitting into a system” “ I did try to do everything to help the redskins, I always have, and even this last decision I did it to help the redskins.” “ I wanted the fans to be in position to cheer for a winner:” “ I thought I fit in well in the system” “ I didn’t have a swagger about my these past few years” “ I can’t say I was ever with Dale Lindsey and he was never fully with me” “It happens” “ I am going to pray” “ I have been going to church” “I want to get the opportunity to get to know who I will work for before I go there” “ Do right by me, I’ll do right by you” “ I am a stand up guy” (continuing...) |

Re: Lavar Gone
“i Am Looking To Go To The Nfc East. I Want To Show The People Of Dc Who I Am” “ I Love It Here And I Want To Come Back Once A Year” “ I Would Have A Hard Time Putting On A Dallas Uniform But That Leaves Two Other Teams”
You have to be joking me!@!#@!#!!!! ---- Pittsburg. Maybe play with my baby boy and shottenheimer… “My confidence is getting higher everyday” When did you know this decision had to be made-- “ I didn’t know if the CBA would be done. I heard that I would be cut in june. I didn’t know where it left me. When the deal started stalling out and a lot of things had to be done in desperation” “It wasn’t something we expected” “ I relized two days ago that the deal wouldn’t get done and something drastic had to happen Who initiated this---?? “they they they had to come to me and restructure of some sort or it would be a lot of cap casuality”: “I wouldn’t hurt the skins” “No malice” “ no personal vendettas” “Its business” “it did not take money out of my bank account to be free. It was a bonus owed to me in a latter year. I didn’t take money out the bank for them to release me” How hard is it to leave Washington. “ my heart will always be here. My home will always be here till I retire or even after. I am still going to be in the communities. I am going to be in the united way with the Washington branch. I am a Washingtonian that just is a free agent” "i am not done. I am 27. I am young and that is good for a high profile person comming into Free agency" “Everything that has happened it just seems like everything will be ready for a comeback” Are you a wounded bear?? “wounded bears are dangerous. I am physically healed up. Emotionally. Its tough. I have been a free agent. I have tried to help. I hope it is viewed that way when the smoke clears. Redskins fans cheer for the skins. Lavar fans cheer for my new team. Not for lavar, my new team”--SHUT THE **** UP!! " I love my fans, i loved them then i love them still" (Continue---) |

Re: Lavar Gone
“As a whole I am in a better place as a person”
Problems with dale Lindsey and marvin lewis comments on he being uncoachable “that is inaccurate and that was rhetoric(??)” “Those were Rhetorical devices that were used for some reason” “That’s the media” “we’re human we all make mistakes”. “ people that know me know that I go above and beyond the call of duty INCLUDING DALE LINDSEY” “regardless of our personal relationship he has to agree for that” “I am still with Professional Sports planning(poston dumbasses)” “I am still represented by them” Lavar there is a weird irony about that because the changes happened because of the 6.5 million because of the Poston’s “Don’t you think that is ironic” “ I mad this clear” “this sabotaged my relationship” “they comeback to me and ask to restructure that same contract” “we sat down and made a critical decision” Who was part of the negotiation “I was by myself” “ I didn’t go to redskins park” “ I talked to gibbs once at my home” “so many details I won’t go into it” “ I included my teammates in the discusions but you can ask them” “my teammates were talking to management” “ you can ask them if The ever talk to you but I wouldn’t put them in the light” “I lowered the cap for the skins so they could lower the cap or sign some people” “The way the contracts were structured [cutting me june first] was not possible” “I’ll be around call me for some guest stuff” “take care guys” |

Re: Lavar Gone
He can go where he will. This was the only thing to do. The fact that the Redskins got cap relief out of it is a major coup. I've been rough on L.A., but he had his moments. Godspeed Lavar Arrington and Thank You.
