Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

This is the worst thing I've seen since the Patriots game last year. We're getting throttled and lost a defensive stud with a what looks like a bad knee injury. Not really any positive spin we can put on this.

That's preferable to what this game is reminding me of....Spurrier's preseason games. Spurrier looked great in the World Bowl game against SF and the first two preseason games. Our starters struggled in the fourth preseason game against Pit (?) and had to be saved by the backups.

Again, I'm not freaking out, but things sound awful right now. Our O-line sounds like it's eating giant c--k. Our defense (which I'm worried about now that Grilliams is gone) is getting demolished. The defense is on pace to give up 400 rushing yards and nearly 60 points. In short, we sound pathetic.

Yeah, they have like 190 rushing yards on us. D looks like it did in '06. Big plays all over the place.

I just want Jason Taylor to be okay. Please.

Pack it in. Just put in the backups. Maybe we'll do something.

For those of you not able to watch, they say Jason Taylor may just have a knee sprain. That seems amazing from what the video looks like. I hope that's all it is.

Play the starters until the the last second clicks off. They don't act like they even WANTED to play tonight. Screw that...I'd punish them and make them play the entire game, injuries or not.

We'll be lucky to win a game this year if we play like this...

Dude, if you can't see how terribly we've played in the last two games and that this could spill over into regular season, you're fooling yourself.

This team HAS to have consistency this close to the season.

hahaha yeah right. check the preseason records of teams. colts went 0-4 last year in the preseason. we went 4-0 under spurrier and look where that got us. ive been watching the skins for along time, we are an 8-8 team come reg season. 8-8 teams dont always look good. fuck sake the pats lost this week does that mean anything?

bunch of chicken littles in here

First, Tom Brady wasn't out there so the Pats score means nothing.

Second, its not about the record. It's about looking competitive and we look like hot garbage right now.
