Al is a bad example.
You're making the reverse assumption Rubin would be going from a 0-tech in a 3-4 to a 1-tech in a 4-3.
Al was going from a freelancing all around beast to a gap control space eating 2-gap read and react NT/DE.

Al could have played that role, but I actually agree with him that it was a waste of his talent.
You don't see the Packers playing Cullen Jenkins as a NT or a 2-gap DE.

Find an example of a 3-4 NT that couldn't play in a 4-3.

Give me Moss over Holmes.

Holmes is, if I recall correctly, one strike away from a very lengthy suspension.

Plus, the point of drafting guys like Hankerson, Austin, even Kelly is to have those guys emerge as the leading WRs of the future. And that's not even mentioning Armstrong. I'd prefer we invest elsewhere

I think the best chance for their(AA, Hank, Kelly) success and the best chance for the receiving corps to become a dynamic unit is to have a proven, reliable WR as the focal point.

Why not?
I know nothing about this guy...but he is a backup QB in the NFL...so he is probably as good or better than our 2 QBs

It's to early. Packers would be better served to keep Flynn for one more year and find a way to pump up his value. Plus it doesn't make sense for the Redskins to add a serious Week 1 QB candidate not named Leinart.

It's funny how we say that even in this compacted off season. These rumors are getting more hot and heavy every day it seems like... Next Hogs Haven will just type the same standard format article and insert every QB in the league into the title, with a new article coming out at the top of each hour.

Beck was on ESPN980 and reiterated what I've been saying since February, Rex will be re-signed. So he's not going anywhere
