I am happy for the Pats for 1 reason.... Fat albert is probably kicking his self for missing a chance of a life time. Prob not though he just wants to get paid.

True. More positively, Andre Carter is a good guy and deserves a ring.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Game Thread

Truthfully, I would rather the Skins not to go the NFC Championship than to lose the game like the Ravens just did.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Game Thread

man that game was there for the ravens and they just lost it 3 times in a row..damn Lee Evans had it won, Cundiff f*cked up the kick to go to OT, and Flacco threw a pick to spikes that caused them to lose momentum in drives which could have won the game...damn, if I'm a ravens fan I'm throwing up. If I'm a skins fan in that situation, someone just stabbed me in the heart 3 times and left me for dead.

Billy Cundiff has joined the Ray Finkle club.

If you're depending on a guy who is frequently mistaken for the team's waterboy to get you to the Super Bowl, you're in trouble.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Game Thread

If Tom Brady had Billy Cundiff kicking for him in those playoff games, how many Super Bowls does he win?

Would people be pumping Tom up as much as they do? Probably not.

That's how it works. And don't forget Vinateri didn't put himself in a position to make those kicks. The Pats Offense, led by Brady, did. Vinateri should be thanking Brady for giving him those 3 opportunities.

And Brady doesn't get any credit for the loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl even though he put his team ahead with a couple minutes left after being pummeled all game. Their D and the most ridiculous circus play of all time get the blame and credit for that game.

A good time to remind everyone that Antrel Rolle came into this league as a corner. He leaves it as an undignified trash talker.
