Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
Let's hope he's ready to start at CB or FS day one. That would be helpful. If not, with Crawford he gives us a nice duo at nickel/dime/spot starter back.

OK. I'm overreacting. Amerson is a good prospect. I'm excited for new talent.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
I like the Amerson pick.
He is a tampa 2 style CB and who better to coach him than Morris. He reminds me alot of Sean Smith and Richard Sherman. also, his 13 int in 2011 shows he plays the ball well in the air and makes plays. If he can improve his footwork, he will match up well with the big WR in the division. |

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
Amerson had 5 picks last year, THIRTEEN the year before.
And he is a press-cover guy who consistently covered the opposing teams best receiver. 6'2" 194. Played safety in HS. 57 tackles in 2010, 59 in 2011, 61 in 2012. According to USA Today, he is built more like a safety, and is big and physical and a good tackler. |

I'm hoping from some 6th and 7th round gems.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
safeties are going slow, maybe we could even pass on one in the 3rd as well? that idea just scared me a little though. easily our biggest need!

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
yeah, physically/stats wise, he's exactly what you want. if he can be coached up, he could be amazing. but if not, you know... a bigger version of hall.
