To make it worse Tampa barely lost to the Rams. We had a real shot that year. Still hurts for sure. |

Re: Week 15
Why did no other team the panthers played make an issue about the bat?

A bored, non-dressed player sauntering around the field carrying a bat and making sure he stays as close and visible to opposing team players as possible and then when words are exchanged and the non-dressed player walking towards the dressed player ..... just isnt a good look. the non-dressed guy seemed like he was just looking for a reaction so he could ramp it up. non-dressed panther player - you look like an idiot, you do not look tough, go home.

So ODB was actually worried he was going to get hit with the bat???? MLB has bats all over the place. Who cares if someone points it at someone else? ODB tried to severely injure another player. He is lucky he didnt paralyze the guy. And ur defense is because someone taunted him with a bat out of uniform??? No. Just no. |

My post was exclusively about how it was just a matter of time until a non-dressed player carrying a bat around and trying to get noticed by the other team would start something. Also, its not about whether ODB realistically thought he was going to get hit by a bat. its just a very dumb look to walk around with a bat trying to get noticed by the other team.

Week 15
Quote:
Totally agree its a dumb look, but its just that ... A look. Ur reply to the original question about why no team ever reacted was because the out of uniform player was "antagonistic" which would imply ODB (whether mentioned by name or not he is obviously the star witness ) was in fear that the player was going to use the bat. Of course its not about whether ODB thought he was going to get hit because he knew damn well he was not. So , what, ODB can just be a cheap dirty bitch because he did not like the look? Come on. Yea its a bad look. Dont want my team looking like thugs, but ODB's actions were in no way reasonable. Nor are the Giants organizations excuses for ODB because of the "look". |

As this and many other articles mention: The Panthers have been bringing out bats for awhile. They aren't the only team to do it, either. Sooo, no other valid answer other than what punch said? |

not a big deal imo, i got no dog in this fight but .. what that undressed panther player did was not cool and id be pretty pissed if he tried that crap with the skins. so please show me the other instances where an opposing player talked shit and walked up to another player w bat in hand.

ODB has acted out against our own CB Breeeland, against other teams, and now trying to spear Norman. He is a childish thuggish lowlife. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Beckham instigates against his opponents, then throws his hand out like he's innocent. ![]() ![]() . . . . But waaaah, the panthers brought bats on the field and might have called Beckham names. Last edited by HailGreen28; 12-23-2015 at 07:35 PM. |

Re: Week 15
So what's up with this ODB gay stuff? Apparently players around the league say he's gay.
