So what's the deal with his injury though. I only ask because I didn't really follow the lead up to the draft, and now people are talking about the injury as the reason for the drop.

Some teams were worried about it but other teams were not. I don't think it was a big deal or the main reason for him going at 17.

According to Cooley, he had some pain in his shoulder as a senior in Highschool, he had a minor surgery before his Junior season in college, and has not had any pain or taken any plays off.

What gets me most excited about the Allen pick is the coaching around him.

He'll be coached by Tomsula going against a Callahan Offensive Line in practice. I like the chances of him maximizing his potential.
