Seen Schneed10 getting some hate on here. I'm not trying to take any sides but S10 is a good poster, his stuff is well thought out and in general he doesn't post any knee-jerk stuff. I have felt his wrath before but the truth is, i'm better for it because whenever he would call me out I posted crazy stuff and was just doing the knee jerk reaction crap. I'd like to think i am more thought out now with my posts, so I thank him for that.

The cousins situation is a serious one. I think for the first time in a great while we have a legit Franchise QB that we have developed, and it is a little scary that we might be letting him go, maybe for nothing. That alone is horrifying but like others have said, only the redskins can be trusted to screw something up of this magnitude. I will hold my breath and hope with cautious optimism that we end up getting to sign Kirk and finally ending all this madness.

As I thought all along. If Jacksonville can sign Kirk, Bortles is good as gone. I'd rather have Cousins than Smith any day of the week.



Also, I agree with Matty on this. Ain't no sign and trade happening. NOBODY is going to sign Kirk for tons of money and give up high picks. San Fran didn't do it and they had the cap space and NO QB. Browns aren't going to do it. NOBODY is going to do it.

I don't know how you read that and think it's more likely to happen.

It was already possible, and based on that comment by Jay, it's no more possible today than it was yesterday. I don't understand.

He says he'll coach whoever's in the building, no matter what the deals are. Well duh. What else would he do? He acknowledges in the same interview (not summarized by NBC in your link) that he leaves all of the negotiations up to the front office.
