I guess ultimately it comes down to: When will Jay Gruden lose the faith of the locker room.

When that happens they'll have no choice but to make a switch. I don't think we're there yet. A few more weeks of this and it'll be a legit concern though.

If the Redskins roll to 0-4 then Gruden's firing could be imminent......https://riggosrag.com/2019/09/24/rep...situation/amp/

Well Philly has been beat twice since us, and neither team that beat them is any good really. Chicagos offense looked like the furthest thing from a playoff team until they played us. Dallas, that other team that hasn’t won a superbowl since the early 90’s has beaten us, the giants, and the fuckin dolphins. So lets see how they look against real competition. They have arguably played the softest three games this year. Had we lost to New England, KC, and the Rams than id be interested but we did not. Not by a country mile.

That's the biggest reason he should be canned sooner rather than later. The Skins need to recognize it's time to rebuild for the long view.

Is it possible they dont want Haskins learning his third different offense by the time he is ready? Or you think if Gruden leaves Haskins jumps right in?

Re: How Long Will Jay Gruden Last This Season as Head Coach?

Gruden will be fired the day after we lose to the Giants this Sunday. Our historically poor defense is going to make Jones look like an all Pro. Gruden has 6 days left as the Redskins HC. O’Connell will replace him.

So consider the contrast - the Giants bit the bullet and put in rookie Jones, who will have guided his team to its SECOND victory. Meanwhile, we hide our #1 Draft pick QB, like he’s made of china or will suffer some sort of mental trauma if he plays behind this OL. Instead we “play it safe” with a professional backup QB who just had 3 INT and 4 fumbles (only two that counted) in one game.

If Gruden is left in as the HC he will never play Haskins - it will be either Case or Colt no matter how bad either plays or how many games they lose for us.

In my opinion, Gruden is trying to get fired so he can escape this franchise and go to another NFL team as the OC next season. From his predictable play-calling, inability to prepare his team for important games, teams which year-after-year have no discipline and over a dozen penalties a game; or practice so soft that they suffer large numbers of injuries every season. He just can’t improve this team. Not all his fault with Snyder and BA mucking up the works, but Jay Gruden is just a mediocre HC.

Unfortunately I don’t see Bruce Allen getting canned along with Gruden. BA is the sacrificial lamb for when the fans rise up in disgust AGAIN, at some time in the future. There’s always got to be a person to be blamed and ready to fall on the sword when the team continues to do badly.

Got to keep hiding the real reason for 20 years of failure. A team with no team culture and an owner who likes to run the team from behind, yet can’t admit that he have little NFL knowledge or ability.

Dude is so easy to read you just know this bullshit is coming. My question is how long is Dan going to let Gruden continue to disappoint and already disgusted fanbase? Are we shocked opposing fans take over our stadium? I'm not. Nobody wants to shell out that kind of $ for this horse shit coached team.

Jay will start Colt to get fired. I truly think that is Jay's plan. Get fired so he doesn't have to deal with Dan and Bruce. He'll collect this year and next years cash and ride off to his next venture. He will have 7 years of Dan's money in the bank and give those two the finger on his way out the door.

Gruden on Dwayne Haskins - “He better be prepared to play. That’s the role of the backup.”

how the fuck dont you, as the head coach, know if a player is prepared or not? Oh wait, you don't give a fuck about teaching him and only want to play the fucking loser career backups and no one knows why.

Re: How Long Will Jay Gruden Last This Season as Head Coach?

Haskins starts then Penn or even Moses get injured in game?

How do you feel now? Geron Christian blocking his blind side.

How much of a grasp does young Haskins have to handle live disguised blitzs with an O line looking like:

Christian-Flowers-Roullier-Scherff-Moses

Oh yeah .. and we have some of the worst blocking TEs in the league so when we try to give Christian help, Davis or Sprinkle miss or forget to chip the edge rusher.

Haskins is not ready for live bullets yet. He will get in at some point but why rush it? To watch him get his knee blown out scrambling for his life and over extending plays bc he feels pressure to produce?

This season is sunk, lets not damage our 2020 season doing stupid stuff like rushing in our young QB who started 14 games in college.

Let Haskins rep with the ones during the bye week later in the season then let him start.

Not being ready for "live bullets" doesnt change UNTIL YOU SEE LIVE BULLETS, lol.
