We now have 2 QBs that excel at Throwing the Bomb, as my mom likes to say. McLaurin and Dotson are gonna feast.

Turner and Thomas should also find success in the middle of the field.

Some of you sound like you gave birth to these players.

Howell is the only guy who provides any glimmer of hope but the curse of Lil Danny Boy will take him down.

You're on the opposite end. Negative Nancy about everything right now.

Re: The 2022 Washington Commanders draft thread

I’d say the first 3 picks need to contribute immediately. And from the talk of both Ron and MM they state the same thing.

They are expected to pick up the system quickly, put in work and get results right away. They can’t be like our first round pick from last year, where he was getting less than 10 snaps in week 12.

That’s not the expectations with the top 3 picks. They need to produced NOW

I’d imagine all 3 will. All of them are at positions of where they can

Re: The 2022 Washington Commanders draft thread

Every fan base drinks the koolaid not just us. Obviously 2-3 guys from this class on average will actually help this team in the long run. The Question is which 2 or 3 will it be? Same for every team. The nfl isn’t the nba. Guys are so hard to predict as early producers for your team.

"Best special teams coverage player in the entire draft," NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah said following the choice. "A dominant gunner."

Can we please cut Apke now?

Percy Butler will be our starting FS no later than mid-season. Don't cut Apke because of Butler. Butler won't play much special teams for long.

What are you hearing that makes you think that? I was reading Keon’s analysis he called him raw which I interpreted as a project.

Just my own personal thought. I could be wrong.

Wasn't sure if you saw a different reports on him. I do like his athleticism.
