Re: Grade the Redskins Draft!

I give the Skins a B. I love the Orakpo pick (he was my top rated player in the draft) but I drop them to a B because I think it was kinda laughable how the Skins didnt pick up a offensive lineman in the draft.

Re: Grade the Redskins Draft!

I don't think I disclosed this until now, but I gave Vinny's draft a rock solid "A". I could have docked him for the ridiculous Taylor trade, but I opted not to. Given the loss of that pick, they filled all their needs to the best of their ability, even opting to fill corner at value rather than offensive line below value.

I also think this draft will pay immediate, as well as long-term dividends.

Did you go to Maryland? I hope Barnes works out well but that pick made little sense to me since better players were available at other positions of need.

I think Mike Mickens who was had in rd 7 (by the damn Cowboys) will be a better player than Barnes.

I hope you are right but some of those offensive lineman who slipped were actually solid players. Hell even if they werent we need youth on the offensive line.

Players like Cody Glenn in round 5 still have me perplexed a month later.

In the 3rd i liked Phillips,McKinzie or Iglesias. We needed a LB and a WR would have helped in case Kelly didnt make a 100% recovery.
Later on there were good olinemen on the board when we picked
