How do you still have Banks on that list seeing as how the KR/PR have been just as effective without him in there? I think there is too much potential on Paul to let go (not that he's shown us much yet) as compared to a 1 trick pony who's talents we've shown have been replaced in his absence.

Paul hasn't shown us much in the passing game. John Keim has remarked that his route running at this point is still really a work in progress. |

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation
This makes the most sense at this point assuming Banks is healthy

Moss
Gaffney Armstrong Austin Hankerson Paul Banks- If healthy, keep him as a return specialist, carry 2 QB's to create a position for him. If not healthy and it would not surprise me if he is put on IR for the year. I would love to keep all 7.

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation
If Banks goes to IR (hope not), do they keep Stallworth as a 6th wr or go w/5?

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation
Oh man, I love Austin. This guy is for real unlike our post scrub preseason wr heros. He just might be worthy of the #3 wr spot.

#2 Gaffney #3 Armstrong #4 Austin #5 Stallworth #6 Hankerson Practice Squad: Paul, Robinson Banks is making the team as a Special Teamer much like our punter and kicker.

daniels, sellers, and banks would be nice people to find a spot for. daniels in jarvis, banks in clemons spot, and sellers instead of the 9th OL or whatever since we don't have enough quality bodies yet to justify roster space. |

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation
I think at this point it will be
Moss Gaffney Armstrong Austin Hankerson Banks Paul and/or Robinson to the PS. Also once Paul is on the PS, can't he decline an offer to join another team? I've heard of that happening before, like last year with some rb on our practice squad who wanted to stay because of Shanny's system. Not saying it won't happen with Paul but you never know.

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation
I believe you're right. Funny how that worked out. And technically he's not released yet, we still own his rights just in case he does decide to come back (which will probably lead to his release).

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation
So maybe if he wants more money he joins an active roster elsewhere, but it's not uncommon for ps players to decline spots on other teams' rosters if they feel more comfortable with where they're at. Either way we'll see, I'm just happy that we have this problem to begin with.
