This isn't saying much but I'd rather see him in a bodybag game situation than Rex.

Personally Rex has gotta go. If Kyle is so loyal to Sexy Rexy then turn him into a coach in training and he's till with the team and can still get a ring if they win the SB.

I'd have 3 QB's and de-activate one each game like they did towards the end of last year.
Agreed...make Rex a quarterback coach if necessary. Just, please get him off the field.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread

I'll agree with some of the bold predictions made on here and say Rex is gone and Pat White makes 3rd on the depth chart IF and when Pat White makes a start in one of the preseason games and continues to look good. I understand some of your points that Shanny is a Rex homer, but it doesn't make any sense to keep him. He has concrete boots. Pat White obviously isn't a starter in this league but he is mobile and can run the read option much better than Rex. I think he would be a good backup for this system.

The term is not homer.... its called "Loyalty". Why I don't know but its there.

I thought I read somewhere that PW ran the spread in college at WV which is why it makes sense and why he looks good running it. I could be wrong though.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread

I was kinda impressed with Lance Lewis (WR), he's a big guy and seemed difficult to bring down.

I liked Helu's running and Royster at the end looked good also. The new Rookies will have to step up big.

Josh Morgan seemed to play well also.

Robinson seemed to get open but he needs to catch the ball.

Hankerson I have mixed feelings for. He looks difficult to bring down ...when he catches the ball.

Yup and a lot of it. Broke some records, and took WVU to a bowl game every year as a starter. During a terrible coaching period, possibly still on going...

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread

I would love to see Amerson and Crawford beat out Wilson and Hall. I have a feeling Amerson's gonna be a very good corner. Physical and good closing speed. I could see Crawford getting as many Int's as Hall without giving up so many plays. Good game tonight. Glad to see Helu back and Cousins continues to give me confidence that we can win with him under center if we need to.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread

I liked Hankerson tonight (didn't expect much), suprised by Compton's ability to not get a QB killed, Rambo seemed like a playmaker before getting torched...so that has potential. Helu and Royster didn't show anything we didn't already know. Our TE's are rock solid. I thought our ILBs were pretty good...I like our LBs. Our NT, Neild looked pretty good too.

It is good to see none of the guys we've been hoping would be good were a fluke.
There is potential...I am quite shocked that Pat White wasn't pathetic. I expected him to completely suck..but it turns out he can move our offense...that was the biggest suprise in my opinion...now I know it was against non NFLers...perhaps next week put him in the 2nd quarter!

I really like preseason games, why?....I call them low blood pressure games.

I also think Lance Lewis raised his stock a bit..and is the only guy making a push for a 6th receiver at this point

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread

WVU was almost a 100% option offense... and it was REALLY good at running left right and center.

let's not get too caught up with garbage time preseason though. white did look good, but there's no reason for him or rex to be on the roster. no one else is going to pick them up.

Pat White Career Highlights - YouTube

I'm not saying bank on it but I'd rather have 2 people on the roster that can run this offense

Apparently he can do things like this too
